Three days in November

Here are a few works in progress from my new mini-project Three Days In November. My idea is to try and create a coherent body of new work over a 3 day period (well about 60 hrs), here in this log cabin in North Yorkshire. I plan to create a small scale publication of the work which includes (so far); sketches, paintings, iPad paintings, drawings and text. I am also looking at putting together a micro short film documenting the process. Ok thats it, better crack on..... 37 hrs to go!

Catfish Keith

Last night I had an amazing night with friends at The Globe Pub in Glossop. Wonderful beer, music courtesy of Catfish Keith and a fantastic VEGAN menu! Awesome. Here are a few quick sketches I managed to squeeze in during the performance.

Drawing in South Kirby

Here are a couple of photographs (thanks to Tom Lonsdale) of me drawing in South Kirby yesterday, following a community consultation session facilitated by Beam around the future of an ex allotment site in the village. Below are two very quick sketches using felt tip pens and water.

Here are a couple of stills from yesterdays filming at Hoylandswaine School in Barnsley, as part of the Sporting Heroes project. Both stills are from a sequence depicting the old South Yorkshire game of 'Nipsy', sometimes refereed to as 'Piggy'.

Barnsley Sporting Heroes - Athersley

Today I had a full on day working with 22 pupils from Athersley North Primary School, drawing sporting images with an Olympic theme. The children worked incredibly hard and kept going for the whole day. They managed to create a number of amazing images during the day using only felt-tip pens and wash. All photographs Yvonne Roberts
