On Thursday morning during the early hours I start my journey to NYC and this years MOBILEARTCON. I was fortunate enough to be asked to design the poster for the event. and created the image below in collaboration with the mighty Benjamin Rabe. I am also presenting the opening session at the conference in partnership with my painting collaborator Jonathan Grauel. Much fun ahead! Exciting times......

A new collaborative blog project....
A collaborative project between writer Emma Adams and Artist Fabric
Lenny, where images inspire words and words inspire images, as each are
batted back and forth, with the potential of unearthing hidden
narratives. Click here to view it.

Elsecar Heritage Centre - South Yorkshire - Site Consultation 001
Today was a beautiful day! And what better way to spend it than with a group of enthusiastic children (from St Helens Primary School) at Elsecar Heritage Centre? The days work was based around exploring the site through walking, looking, writing and drawing, and then suggesting areas for improvement along with a personal wish list for the site. It was a very productive day, which saw the children produce some amazing images (on cups as well as paper) and develop some great ideas for the site..... I can't wait until tomorrow! This selection of fine photographs was capture by Yvonne Roberts and illustrates the day perfectly!

Industry, Innovation, Power
Here are a selection of images detailing three panels that I have just completed, which are to be to be installed at the Elsecar Heritage Centre, South Yorkshire. The images were developed following a number of creative engagement sessions with families and children, and took their inspiration from the Newcomen Beam Engine at Elsecar. All of the images were created solely across three iPads over an intensive four day drawing period, using the peculiar, but splendid app, Paintbook.

Junction Project Leeds - Image Three
I have just completed this digital painting (image no.3) for the Junction project in Leeds! It should be adorning the Junction Box outside Browns near the Art Gallery by the end of the month! The image (Parting the Hares) was painted using Artrage and Photoshop at actual size. My Mac was really chugging at times! More images to follow.....

Collaborative Fingerpainting
Following a successful digital 'finger-painting' workshop at MK&G in Hamburg, the artists gathered at the studio of Benjamin Rabe, and collectively fingerpainted (the old fashioned way) this wall painting. We had great fun with this, and created the whole thing without blue. Green is the new blue I am told!
