Live Drawing And Music At Noo Cafe

This fantastic picture was taken by the wonderful Lizzie Coombes, whom I met today during the second day of my residency at the Noo Cafe in Armley, Leeds. Giuliano Modarelli and I 'performed' a live drawing and music set to the Cafe customers, over breakfast and through lunch. Top Fun! More here

Shots from the inside of the library space - Hoyland
Here are a couple of shots from the inside of the Library at Hoyland. The 'window doodle' is now complete and it really does make me smile! I am really pleased with it! I won't be able to post any more pictures of the final instal for a while as I am currently one of the Cafe Artists in residence on the Armley Cafe circuit, as part of the i love west leeds festival.

'Window Doodle' Hoyland Centre
Today saw day one of the Hoyland Centre 'window doodle' installation. I was incredibly nervous, as several months of my life have been spent developing workshops, drawings, iPad paintings, meetings etc, to feed into this large scale work..... but i was in good hands! The instal team from Signs Express Sheffield were fantastic! Here are a few pics showing the work so far: thanks to Yvonne Roberts for the images!

Woven Narratives
Here is a sneak peek of a selection of characters created during collaborative iPad painting session between US based artist Jonathan Grauel and I. These characters will be displayed alongside collaborative panels in a new joint show which opens in August. Details to follow.......
