Junction - Situation Leeds - Theatre of Hares and Graces





































This evening saw the launch of 'Junction', a Situation Leeds Project bringing new artworks to the heart of Leeds City Centre. I was commissioned to create the above piece 'Theatre of Hares and Graces', which will showcase four new acts over the coming months..... watch this space for updates! More info here.

New Cardboard Collaboration With Jonathan Grauel - round 2

School Dining Room Wall - Badsley Moor Infant School

Over the past few months I have been working alongside fellow artist Lou Sumray, and pupils at Badsley Moor, Infant School, to design an over-sized 'wall drawing' for the dining hall. Today it was installed in beautiful mat black vinyl!

'Steaming Ahead' - Day 6 at Elsecar Heritage Centre

A mixed bag of activity today as I continued my work at Elsecar Heritage Centre. I spent a lot of time based at the Beam Engine site, with several breaks in activity as I swapped hats and became 'tour guide, to a number of interested and enthusiastic visitors. More drawing, both digital and pen on paper, and some fantastic steam powered spiders drawn by Jacob! Here is a link to the 'making of' the painting above.

Elsecar Inventions Week - Day 005

I got carried away today painting outside in the 'yard' of the Newcomen Beam Engine at Elsecar, and realised after about 3 hours that my neck and chest were REALLY burnt! Suffering now!
