Today I spent the day working with a wonderful group of children at West Meadows Primary School in Hoyland, Barnsley, as part of a temporary art commission to be displayed at Wentworth Castle Park and Gardens. The artwork is being created to celebrate and highlight the restoration of the large conservatory which was built at the site in the 1880s. I worked with 24 pupils (aged between 4 and 10) over the course of the day, supporting them in the creation of a splendid body of work using paper, cardboard and iPads
